Friesian

Friesian are steadily increasing in their popularity as a breed to use in crossbreeding programs.

At Inch we are building a small herd of Friesians.
We have flushed our two top Holstein Friesian Cows using pure Friesian Sires.

Initially, the two cows we flushed were;

Inch Jed Daphne EX93 (4E)
8412 kg   5.12 bf   3.85 p

Inch Falal Daphne EX93 (3E)
9999 kg   5.01 bf   3.62 p

These 2 cows were selected because;

1. They are bred from our original Friesian Cows.
2. They have great dairy strength with exceptional rumps.
3. Up to 5% bf and 4% p.
4. Consistent 10,000kg yields for many lactations.
5. High female fertility.

Bulls currently being used are Blackisle Glenalbyn, Marshside Rocket 3, Grove Breadwinner and Lakemead Rancher.
